England - Peak District to Yorkshire Dales

In the north window nearest the arch is the only piece of medieval glass remaining in St Edmund Church and it is dated in the 1300s. Dorcas and King Edmund (right) was installed much later in 1937. A fragment of medieval wall painting was discovered when the walls were being replastered (left) but the costs to investigate further proved too much.
